After graduating from Middlesex University in London in 1980, Nassir Arzamkhan went back home to work alongside his family but soon decided to pursue his career as an entrepreneur. After attending the francophony summit held in Mauritius in 1995, he was invited by His Excellency Idriss Deby Itno, President of the Republic of Chad, to develop new businesses in the country. Exactly a year after, he moved his entire family to Chad and started a consulting company. His belief to always diversify his activities led him to create businesses in many fields. Below are some among others.
OWNER, HOTEL LE SAHEL
Started a medium class hotel in downtown N'Djamena catering for businessmen and NGOs visiting or coming on missions. From a dozen of rooms, the hotel quickly expanded and also providing fully furnished villas for expatriates and diplomats.
CONSULTANT, ZAMZAM
Built the first Mineral Water Bottling Plant in N'Djamena, Chad for Libyan Investors. Also set up the first water bottling plant in the north of Cameroon (Maroua) and assisted the creation of another plant in Central African Republic (Bangui)
HONORARY CONSUL OF SOUTH AFRICA IN CHAD
Nominated as Honorary Consul of South Africa in Chad until South Africa opened its own embassy.
HONORARY CONSUL OF INDIA IN CHAD
Nominated as Honorary Consul of India in Chad. Represented India for 11 years. Helped strengthen bilateral relationships between India and Chad. Assisted in granting Line of Credit for the setting up of various industries and arranged scholarships for Chadian students among others.
CHAIRMAN, GREEN DESERT FERTILIZER FACTORY
Located in the emirate of Umm Al Quwain in the United Arab Emirates, the company quickly expanded and started selling to the neighboring emirates. We had the exclusive contract to collect all the dung at the cattle port in Dubai which we processed with other organic products into a green fertilizer that helped to make the UAE greener.
